About Dr. Evan Colby
Evan Colby teaches Globalization and Cultural Change and supervises Independent Study in History. His research examines global energy transitions, documenting the worldwide expansion of coal mining infrastructure and oil distribution networks during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He is currently writing an environmental history of international port facilities and fuel bunkering stations.
Dr. Evan Colby is a member of the Department of History in the College of Arts & Sciences.
