About Dr. Erik Cummings
Erik Cummings teaches Structural Design in Steel & Concrete and Mechanics of Deformable Bodies. A veteran structural educator and practitioner, his scholarly work focuses on cross-laminated mass timber panel connections, cyclic ductility in heavy timber frames, and fire resistance ratings of engineered wood. He completed his doctorate at Ostrander University and has authored structural timber guidelines.
