About Dr. Emilio Benítez
Emilio Benítez teaches Algorithms and Data Structures and Introduction to Programming with Python. His interdisciplinary research investigates fast string matching algorithms, structural alignment of disordered proteins, and computational methods for comparative genomics. He joined Alkimi from Vantry State University and regularly leads student bioinformatics workshops in collaboration with regional life science institutes.
