About Dr. Douglas Hartmann
Douglas Hartmann teaches International Relations and Advanced International Security, drawing on decades of research into international conflict. His scholarship focuses on United Nations peacekeeping effectiveness, ceasefire monitoring, and disarmament programs in post-conflict transitions. He has evaluated peace accord implementations across West Africa and Central America for international research consortia.
Dr. Douglas Hartmann is a member of the Department of Political Science in the College of Arts & Sciences.
