About Dr. Dominic Albrecht
Dominic Albrecht teaches Western and World Civilizations II along with sections of First-Year Seminar on religious toleration and civic conflict. His scholarship explores municipal governance, civic guilds, and confessional identity in early modern German cities during the Reformation. He has spent decades examining municipal council archives and legal petitions across the Rhine and Danube river basins.
Dr. Dominic Albrecht is a member of the Department of History in the College of Arts & Sciences.
