About Dr. Derek Foster
Derek Foster teaches Corporate Finance & Valuation and Senior Finance Capstone Seminar. His scholarly work analyzes hostile takeover defenses, statutory merger appraisal rights, and hedge fund activist interventions during corporate reorganizations. He previously taught on the business faculty at Castellan College and frequently presents at national corporate finance symposiums.
