About Dr. Deirdre Caruso
Deirdre Caruso teaches Cognitive Science and Human-AI Interaction as well as Cognitive Psychology and Neurocognition. Her research investigates how human decision-makers calibrate trust in automated diagnostic algorithms and how cognitive workload influences supervisory performance. She collaborates on user-centered design projects with technology and healthcare teams in the Merrow Valley.
Dr. Deirdre Caruso is a member of the Department of Psychology in the College of Arts & Sciences.
