About Dr. Curtis Fields
Curtis Fields teaches Organismal Biology & Diversity and Ecology and Evolutionary Dynamics. His research program uses dendrochronology to analyze historical forest disturbance regimes, wildfire intervals, and climate sensitivity in eastern hardwood stands. He actively manages the university's research tree-ring archive and regional long-term forest monitoring plots.
Dr. Curtis Fields is a member of the Department of Biology in the College of Arts & Sciences.
