About Dr. Catherine Strand
Catherine Strand chairs the Department of Statistics and teaches Mathematical Statistics and Probability. Her research focuses on high-dimensional statistical inference, sparse covariance estimation, and non-asymptotic random matrix theory. Her methodological work is supported by multiple competitive research grants from the National Science Foundation and other scientific agencies.
