About Dr. Carl DeLuca
Carl DeLuca teaches Microbiology for Health Sciences and Organismal Biology & Diversity. His research explores the ecology of vector-borne zoonotic pathogens, specifically tracking tick-borne diseases and Borrelia transmission dynamics in woodland corridors across the Merrow Valley. His work actively informs regional municipal vector surveillance programs.
Dr. Carl DeLuca is a member of the Department of Biology in the College of Arts & Sciences.
