About Dr. Candace Woods
Candace Woods teaches Introduction to Sociology and mentors undergraduate research fellows studying educational institutions. Her scholarship examines socioeconomic segregation in suburban public school districts, academic tracking, and pipeline initiatives for first-generation college students. She frequently partners with regional school superintendents in the Merrow Valley to assess equity in advanced coursework.
