About Dr. Bo Xu
Bo Xu teaches Economics of Innovation and Technology as well as Econometrics and Data Analysis. His research analyzes patent valuation, university-industry technology transfer, and corporate research-and-development investment cycles. Supported by an NSF grant, he has constructed longitudinal datasets tracing how patent thickets influence entry rates among high-tech startup ventures.
Dr. Bo Xu is a member of the Department of Economics in the College of Arts & Sciences.
