Bethany Wakefield leads doctoral seminars exploring state education policy implementation and legislative politics in public education. Her research focuses on charter school authorization standards, public school choice mechanisms, and administrative compliance with state accountability mandates. She mentors practicing school administrators and advises EdD students completing policy-focused doctoral dissertations.
