About Dr. Amit Kumar
Amit Kumar teaches Principles of Microeconomics and Economics of Innovation and Technology. His research uses quasi-experimental methods to examine household adoption of rooftop solar panels, municipal clean energy subsidies, and the local economic impacts of carbon emissions trading. His recent articles have analyzed state-level electric vehicle rebate programs.
Dr. Amit Kumar is a member of the Department of Economics in the College of Arts & Sciences.
