About Dr. Alison Talbot
Alison Talbot teaches Directed Literary Research and conducts sections of Academic Writing, connecting early American texts to modern cultural debates. Her research examines colonial captivity narratives, Puritan sermon culture, and transatlantic book trade networks before 1800. She recently completed an archival study of eighteenth-century printing presses in colonial New England.
Dr. Alison Talbot is a member of the Department of English in the College of Arts & Sciences.
