About Dr. Alicia Pettaway
Alicia Pettaway teaches Literacy Development & Early Reading Instruction and Teaching Elementary Social Studies & Arts. Her research investigates structured literacy approaches, phonemic awareness intervention models, and culturally sustaining children's literature in early elementary grades. She previously taught primary grades before joining the faculty at Alkimi.
